Running a lovely little half marathon this weekend :)
I’m very excited to see my parents and brother! My brother just cut all of his hair off and donated it. I’m excited to see!
My feet are really sore from wearing heels to chapter meeting on Tuesday. I know I’m pathetic for having sore feet from such a short amount of time in heels, but it’s the reality I live in. I hope I make it through my one day of wearing heels to Spring recruitment… I don’t even want to think about Fall recruitment. I’m too tall to wear heels around all of the short girls, they should let me wear flats.
I also just informed my mother that I’m taking Biological Anthropology this semester. She told me she doesn’t believe in it. hahahaha. Love her, but as a woman who breeds dogs you would think she would hop on board with natural selection.

Shout out to the lady in the grocery store who told me I don’t need to lose weight!
My goals are mostly about being healthy, but a lovely elderly lady in the freezer section at the grocery store gave me a nice little confidence boost :)
Yet another reason why I love kind old southern people. They are the greatest.
(p.s. this compliment came from a woman who was in great shape for the age she was. So, not from someone who obviously doesn’t care about health. hehe)
Wow, this has really gotten around on Tumblr… I’m glad you guys all like my typography project :) I’m reposting this because I love this project and because I need a little reminder myself! Half marathon training starts in less than 2 weeks!!

So far this semester Aristotle has been mentioned in three out of my five classes multiple times. Those classes happen to be: research methods, logic, and biological anthropology. Aristotle (the Greek) was a major bad ass.
He has not been mentioned in my bowling or Spanish class.
I do believe I made a wise decision in naming my dog Aristotle. It is obviously an awesome name, but every time his name is mentioned in class I miss my poor little dog locked away in my room in my apartment. :(
As a Communication Studies major you would think that I would have anticipated the amount of psychological noise I was going to have to power through in my various classes when Aristotle’s name was mentioned over and over again.
I know what you’re thinking if you read all of this. You’re thinking, “GEEZ MEG YOUR LIFE IS SO TOUGH! HOW DO YOU EVEN SURVIVE?!” My answer would have to be that I don’t know. My problems are huge.
It gets the people going!
